Hilldale is located in Live Oak, Florida.  Live Oak is located off Interstate 10, only 15 miles west of the crossroads of Interstate 75 and 10.  This makes for an easy commute to Gainesville, Jacksonville, or Valdosta.  At Hilldale you would be living in the lowest wind zone rating area in Florida reducing your risk from hurricanes, plus home construction cost and insurance costs.  Live Oak offers great climate year round and has many amenities while maintaining its small, hometown feel. 

 

In Live Oak you will find Publix, Winn Dixie, Super Wal-Mart, Lowes, Tractor Supply, a hospital, and restaurants.

Fourteen miles northwest of Hilldale is the Suwannee River State Park.  It is located at the intersection of the Suwannee and Withlacoochee rivers. This park is alive with history. Visitors can see remnants of a 19th-century steamship and two ghost towns that have been reclaimed by the sandhill wilderness, which is home to diverse and imperiled native species.  There hiking trails, campground, cabin rentals, and a paved boat ramp. 

 

The Suwannee River State Park is part of the Twin Rivers Wildlife Management Area which consists of more than 9,000 acres in 14 non-contiguous tracts in Madison, Hamilton, and Suwannee counties.  There are areas designated for hunting, fishing, wildlife viewing, canoeing, horseback riding, hiking, bicycling, and picnicking.

 

Hilldale - Estates 11 & 12 is located two miles from downtown Live Oak.   The properties are located on a county graded dirt road.  We have under brushed a couple of acres on each parcel.  You will find scattered oak, hardwood and pine trees throughout the property.  Electricity is available to the front of the property.  There is no requirement or timetable to build.  Mobile and Modular Homes are permitted.  Farm animals are permitted.
