Hunter's Crossing is located 15 miles north Lake City in White Springs, Florida.  Lake City is located at the crossroads of Interstate 75 and 10. This makes for an easy commute to Gainesville, Jacksonville, or Valdosta.  At Hunter's Crossing you would be living in the lowest wind zone rating area in Florida reducing your risk from hurricanes, plus home construction cost and insurance costs.  Lake City offers great climate year round and is a strong, growing city while maintaining its small, hometown feel.

Lake City offers many different events throughout the year to bring the community together from the Gateway City Craft Beer & Wine Festival, the Annual Easter Egg-stravaganza, 4th of July Celebration, Trunk or Treat, Olustee Battle Festival & Re-Enactment, Florida Gateway Pro Rodeo, Columbia County Fair, and much more.

In Lake City you will find 3 hospitals: Lake City Medical Center, Shands Lake Shore Medical Center, and a VA Medical Center. Many different shopping opportunities at the Lake City Mall, Super Wal-Mart, Lowe’s, Home Depot, Publix, Winn Dixie, Harvey’s and much more.

Florida Gateway College calls Lake City home or you can choose to travel 45 minutes south to Gainesville where you will find the University of Florida and Santa Fe College.

The Stephen Foster State Park is five miles south and situated on the banks of the legendary Suwannee River, this center honors the memory of American composer Stephen Foster, who wrote "Old Folks at Home," the song that made the river famous.  The museum features exhibits about Foster's most famous songs, and his music can be heard emanating from the park's 97-bell carillon throughout the day.  In Craft Square, visitors can watch demonstrations of quilting, blacksmithing, stained glass making and other crafts, or visit the gift shop. Hiking, bicycling, canoeing and wildlife viewing are popular activities. Miles of trails wind through some of the most scenic areas of North Florida.  Every Memorial Day weekend, the park hosts the Florida Folk Festival. Other special events include concerts, weekend retreats, a regional quilt show, a holiday light display and an antique tractor show.

Hunter's Crossing - Estate 1 is located on the corner of a county maintained paved road and dirt road.  Electricity is available to the front of property.  There is no requirement or timetable to build.  However when you decide to build your home must be a minimum of 650 square feet or larger.  Mobile and Modular Homes are permitted as long as they are 7 years of age or newer when initially placed on the property.  Farm animals are permitted with the exception of pigs.  Camping is permitted on a limited basis.
