Nova Estates

Located in White Springs, Florida

Nova Estates is located just north of Lake City in White Springs, Florida.  White Springs is located just north of the  Interstate 75 and 10 intersection.  This makes for an easy commute to Gainesville, Jacksonville, or Valdosta.  At Nova Estates you would be living in the lowest wind zone rating area in Florida reducing your risk from hurricanes, plus home construction cost and insurance costs. 

 

In Lake City you will find 3 hospitals: Lake City Medical Center, Shands Lake Shore Medical Center, and a VA Medical Center. Many different shopping opportunities at the Lake City Mall, Super Wal-Mart, Lowe’s, Home Depot, Publix, Winn Dixie, Harvey’s and much more.

 

Florida Gateway College calls Lake City home or you can choose to travel 45 minutes south to Gainesville where you will find the University of Florida and Santa Fe College.

 

Jacksonville is located 60 miles to the east, Gainesville is 50 miles to the south and the Florida/Georgia border is 30 miles north of Nova Estates.

The Stephen Foster State Park is located 3 miles northeast of Nova Estates.  The park is situated on the banks of the Suwannee River.  There is a museum that exhibits Foster's most famous songs.  In Craft Square, visitors can watch demonstrations of quilting, blacksmithing, stained glass making, and other crafts.  There are miles of trails for hiking, bicycling and wildlife viewing.  Every Memorial Day weekend, the park hosts the Florida Folk Festival.  Other special events include concerts, weekend retreats, a holiday light display, and much more.

 

At Nova Estates you will find two parcels with plenty of cleared space to build and nicely wooded areas also.  The estates are located on a county maintained dirt road and electricity is available to the front of each property.  There is no requirement or timetable to build.  Mobile homes and modular homes are permitted.   Farm animals are allowed.

There are NO DEED RESTRICTIONS, but you must follow the building codes of Columbia County when do decide to build.
