Woods at Falling Creek is located in Lake City, Florida.  Lake City is located at the crossroads of Interstate 75 and 10. This makes for an easy commute to Gainesville, Jacksonville, or Valdosta.  At Woods at Falling Creek you would be living in the lowest wind zone rating area in Florida reducing your risk from hurricanes, plus home construction cost and insurance costs.  Lake City offers great climate year round and is a strong, growing city while maintaining its small, hometown feel.

Lake City offers many different events throughout the year to bring the community together from the Gateway City Craft Beer & Wine Festival, the Annual Easter Egg-stravaganza, 4th of July Celebration, Trunk or Treat, Olustee Battle Festival & Re-Enactment, Florida Gateway Pro Rodeo, Columbia County Fair, and much more.

In Lake City you will find 2 hospitals: Lake City Medical Center, and a VA Medical Center. Many different shopping opportunities at the Lake City Mall, Super Wal-Mart, Lowe’s, Home Depot, Publix, Winn Dixie, Harvey’s and much more.

Florida Gateway College calls Lake City home or you can choose to travel 45 minutes south to Gainesville where you will find the University of Florida and Santa Fe College.

The Stephen Foster State Park is ten miles north and situated on the banks of the legendary Suwannee River, this center honors the memory of American composer Stephen Foster, who wrote "Old Folks at Home," the song that made the river famous.  The museum features exhibits about Foster's most famous songs, and his music can be heard emanating from the park's 97-bell carillon throughout the day.  In Craft Square, visitors can watch demonstrations of quilting, blacksmithing, stained glass making and other crafts, or visit the gift shop. Hiking, bicycling, canoeing and wildlife viewing are popular activities. Miles of trails wind through some of the most scenic areas of North Florida.  Every Memorial Day weekend, the park hosts the Florida Folk Festival. Other special events include concerts, weekend retreats, a regional quilt show, a holiday light display and an antique tractor show.

Woods at Falling Creek - Estate 27 has scattered pine trees throughout the property.  We have cleared a driveway and home site area on the land.  The property is located on a paved road at the end of cul-de-sac.  Underground electricity is available to the parcel.  There is a well on the property, but we do not know what condition it is in.  There is no requirement or timetable to build.  However when you decide to build it must be 1,500 square feet or larger.  No mobile or modular homes are allowed.  The only animals permitted are household pets.   There are a several families already living in Woods at Falling Creek.
